Formed in the late 00s, Woven Gold is a group of refugees and asylum seekers from around the world, who make music with professional musicians (currently Joe Steele, Anna de Mutuiis, Anastasia Nikiforova and others).

 

Woven Gold’s energy, richness and power come from the combination of a sense of close family, shared experience and our range of musical cultures – from Congo and Iran, to Pakistan, Kurdistan and Uganda.

Woven Gold have performed at leading venues across London, including the Southbank Centre, Tower of London and Round Chapel, Hackney.
